Scottish Mezzo- Soprano Niamh Pragnell Toal studied at The David Seligman Opera School under the guidance of Mirouslava Yordanova.

Her education was generously supported by the Countess of Munster Trust, The Janet Price Opera Prize, The Caledonian Society, Leverhulme Arts, and a scholarship from RWCMD.

During her studies, she received accolades such as The Mabel Linwood Award and The Keynote Artists Prize. Niamh holds both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees with First Class Honours from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Recent performances include Ruggiero in Handel’s Alcina and Public Opinion in Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld, as well as participating in the chorus for Carmina Burana at Opera Holland Park.

Her opera scene performances feature roles like Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Carmen, Kate Julian in Owen Wingrave, and Mrs. De Rocher in Dead Man Walking with The David Seligman Opera School.

Additionally, her concert appearances include Pan Ddaw'r Nos: An Evening of Song alongside Sir Bryn Terfel (RWCMD) and the annual Burns Night Recitals for The Cardiff Country Club.
